Exam Structure

30 questions 

Part 1:Choose the correct conclusion or continuation from the three possible multiple-choice answers after listening to seven unfinished talks.

Part 2:Answer two three-option multiple-choice questions for each of the five conversations you hear.

Part 3:Fill in 7 gaps after hearing a monologue using no more than 3 words each time on a piece of paper, a message pad, or a form.

Part 4: Answer six follow-up, multiple-choice questions with three options after hearing a group discussion or argument.

Each section is performed twice.

4 parts – 30 Multiple Choice (MC) questions


Part 1a: 6 MC inquiries. Read the provided sentences and select the appropriate word to replace the term that has been highlighted.


Part 1b: 5 MC inquiries. Read a text with gaps, and choose the best word from a list of three to fill in each one.


Part 2: 6 MC inquiries. Choose from a list of 8 sentences to fill in the holes in a paragraph with 6 sentences cut out.


Part 3: 7 MC inquiries. Read four texts with a similar theme and respond to questions to extract information.


Part 4: 6 MC inquiries. Answer six four-option multiple-choice questions about a lengthy text after reading it.

Part 1:100 to 150 words (create a formal response to the given content for an intended public audience)

Task: Create an impartial or formal response appropriate for the reader, depending on the provided content.

Part 2: Create a bit of informal writing) 150–250 words

Task: Write a casual article with a specific readership and aim in mind.

4 sections

Query, role-play, read-aloud, and presentation

Part 1: Name, spelled correctly, and nation of origin. Respond to up to five inquiries on various subject areas.

Part 2: The interlocutor presents two situations. Candidates are supposed to answer questions and strike up conversations.

Part 3: Read a passage aloud and respond to questions about it. 

Part 4: After 30 seconds of preparation, speak for one to two minutes about a topic offered by the interlocutor and respond to any inquiries.

We’ve covered everything for you, so the testing process runs smoothly and is pleasurable! We advise getting to the test center at most 30 minutes before your test and carrying a valid photo ID with you for identification purposes.
